A5 closed in Leicestershire after lorry hits bridge

The A5 is closed in both directions, near Hinckley, due to a lorry hitting a bridge. The closure is between the A47 near Nuneaton and the M69.

Leicestershire Police are at scene.

Traffic is diverted via local roads, via Hinckley, to leave the A5 at Dodwell’s Roundabout & return at the M69 J1. Highways England is asking motorists to follow the solid diamond symbol.
