Construction starts on £30m Sudbrooke development

Construction has started on a £30m residential development in Lincoln.

The Parklands, brought forward by Lincoln-based developer Jackson Living, part of Jackson & Jackson Developments, will comprise 155 properties set within a woodland location just a few miles north of Lincoln.

The 46.7-acre development will also feature outdoor open spaces, woodland footpaths, a restaurant, kitchen garden, community allotments and an outdoor gym.

Preparation works have already been underway at The Parklands site since March, creating accessible paths in the local woodland, introducing new species to the existing ponds, and working to ensure wildlife in the surrounding area are protected.

Dominik Jackson, director at Jackson & Jackson Developments, said: “Myself and the whole team have spent many months carefully planning and designing every aspect of The Parklands to bring to life a wonderful, peaceful place to live while enhancing the incredible setting.

“As with other Jackson Living schemes, The Parklands is being delivered by a local team of contractors and, once complete, it will have provided more than 100 new jobs for the local community.”

The build programme of the scheme is being delivered by construction consultancy LGG Projects.

Paul Jakuc, from LGG Projects, said: “It’s a privilege to be working with Jackson Living on The Parklands. We have been planning this development for so long to ensure we get it just right and it’s wonderful to see the progress made so far.”
