Resi developer launches 50 Help to Buy properties

Hockley Developments, the Nottingham-based residential property developers, has announced it is making a minimum of 50 properties available for buyers on the government-backed Help to Buy scheme in 2019 across four new developments.

Josh Woolley, customer service manager at Hockley Developments, said: “Help to Buy is a fantastic scheme, but there has to be available properties, and in Nottingham we noticed there were very few available at first time buyer prices ie £100-150,000 on the Help to Buy scheme. In fact until we launched our latest two developments at Millers Mews and Sherwood Heights, we were not aware of any other available properties within 3 miles of Nottingham, at prices from £100-150,000, for Help to Buy buyers.

“We have already taken reservations from Help To Buy buyers, often before developments are even completed, and are focused on ensuring we become the primary residential developer in Nottingham for anyone looking for HTB at prices up to £150,000 – a market where most buyers with salaries of £25,000 will be looking.”

“This is a price range we specialise in, and we are delighted today, to announce we are making 50 one and two bedroom properties available for Help to Buy buyers across four developments we are launching this month and in early 2019 – in Basford, Sherwood and Hyson Green.

“We are working closely with Help to Buy Midlands, where all our properties are listed, and we would ask anyone looking to buy on the Help to Buy scheme, that has been frustrated at the lack of availability at an affordable price range, to get in touch.”
