‘Seven-star’ student accommodation sold in £232m deal

Student accommodation provider Fusion Students has sold its Nottingham city centre site as part of a deal worth more than £230m.
According to reports in the Daily Telegraph, Fusion has sold the £40m site on Talbot Street, which is called Nova and was billed as “seven-star accommodation” when it was being built to a a joint venture between the property and infrastructure investors Arlington Advisors and Equitix.
Prices at Nova range between £134 per week to £243 per week for a 51-week contract, including bills.
Fusion has also sold sites in Newcastle, Cardiff and Bristol in a deal said to be worth over £232m. Knight Frank brokered the deal.
