Plans in for Derby residential scheme

A planning application has been submitted to Derby City Council for a proposed development on Kedleston Road.

The proposed scheme includes a new four storey brick building housing 14 two-bedroom apartments.

Bondholder Matthew Montague Architects said: “The proposal seeks to create a sustainable development not just in terms of carbon footprint but also by providing an attractive and safe environment for an integrated community.

“Generous and flexible living spaces enjoying good day-lighting and privacy levels will make for a high quality of life, encouraging residents to remain and promoting a stable and familiar community.”

A planning decision is expected at the end of January.
