On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham managed services and solutions company, Retail Assist, has hired Jordon Graham as its new digital executive.

Graham will be joining the marketing department, looking after SEO, e-campaigns, video editing, event management and all things digital.

Alex Broxson, head of marketing, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jordon as our new Digital Executive. Having previously worked at Ikano and running her own consultancy, she brings with her a wealth of experience and is an asset to our team.

“Here at Retail Assist, we are a vibrant team with a strong reputation in the industry and we needed someone who could not only deliver, but continue to progress the achievements of the team and the business. Jordon has already hit the ground running and I look forward to our continued work together.”

Graham said: “There’s constant evolution in both the retail industry and in digital marketing, so it’s a really exciting role to be in. I’m thrilled to be joining the team and I look forward to a long-term career here.”

Leicestershire brick-maker Ibstock has appointed Michael McGowan as group sustainability manager.

McGowan was previously served as quality, environmental & energy manager at Ibstock Brick, part of Ibstock plc.

Ibstock’s chief executive officer, Joe Hudson, said: “Michael McGowan’s passionate belief in sustainability and environmentally responsible manufacturing has put our Brick business on track to achieve very significant improvements by 2020. His new group-wide role will now enable us to make step-change performance improvements in other parts of our business. His ‘people-first’ approach helps us to engage and involve people across Ibstock plc to work as a single team, drawing on both vast experience and fresh ideas. This is the start of a very important and exciting journey.”
