Overturned car shuts A38 in Derbyshire

An overturned car has caused the A38 to be closed in both directions, at the junction of the A610 near Ripley in Derbyshire.

Highways England says motorists approaching the closure may exit the A38, navigate around the roundabout, and then re-join the A38 on the far side of the same junction, by using the adjacent slip-roads.

There are long delays on the approach to this incident, says the agency. Motorists should allow plenty of extra time for their journey or consider alternative routes.
