Smithers Purslow, the consulting engineer and surveying firm, has opened a West Bridgford office.

The Rutland-headquartered firm’s new base is its sixth office. It employs over 60 people in offices in Glaston, Newcastle, London, Reading and Exeter.

After nearly 11 years of travelling to and working from the head office, Midlands director, Mike Boast, said: “The Midlands team have really enjoyed working alongside the excellent staff at Glaston, however, following recruitment in the region over the last few years the new Nottingham office will ensure a closer working relationship within the department”.

He added: “This move opens up an exciting new chapter and we can’t wait to establish our presence in Nottingham and the surrounding areas. In the coming weeks and months, we will be looking to carry out marketing and enhance Smithers Purslow’s reputation in the Midlands region, in line with our business growth strategy”.
