Imps upgrade stadium with refurb programme

The new 1884 Lounge

Lincolnshire-based commercial interiors, fit-out and construction firm APSS has created a new look for Lincoln City Football Club’s club shop and 1884 Lounge.

Season ticket holders and game-goers will now benefit from a new club shop and ticket office, which has been renovated to combine the two facilities under one roof.

The project also included the soft refurbishment and fit-out for all 17 hospitality boxes.

The summer works also saw an extensive refurbishment of the 1884 Lounge and Bar, which is primarily used by VIP members of the club and features the Players’ Lounge, known as the Dambusters Suite.

Players will also benefit from the refurbishment, as the firm has installed brand new dugouts on the main pitch, as well as completing works to the Soper of Lincoln Elite Performance Centre.

Miles Thomas, operations director at APSS, said: “Lincoln City FC has worked so hard over the last few years, helping to raise awareness of everything the city has to offer. We wanted the new 1884 lounge and bar to reflect the greatness of what the club has achieved.

“The various fit outs and refurbishment at the club over the summer really shows the keen investment in the stadium, and the club’s commitment to providing guests with the best possible experience when visiting and watching a game.

“Many of our team members here at APSS are fans of Lincoln City FC, so enjoy working with the club and feeling a part of the journey. We look forward to the start of the new season and seeing guests enjoy the latest fit outs.”

Commercial manager at Lincoln City FC, Ritchie Bates, said: “We are delighted with the construction work that APSS has completed in recent months.

“Their professional interior design work has accelerated the development of interior sections of Sincil Bank Stadium and the Soper of Lincoln EPC.”
