Engineering firm reveals new finance boss

Van Elle, the Nottinghamshire listed ground engineering contractor, has appointed Graeme Campbell as its new chief financial officer.

Campbell will join the firm in early 2020. He replaces Paul Pearson, who revealed he was quitting the firm in May.

Campbell is currently group financial controller of Severfield, the structural steel company.

Van Elle says it has appointed a sector-experienced interim finance director to “ensure an adequate handover” from Pearson and to cover the role before Campbell joins.

Adrian Barden, non-executive chairman of Van Elle, said: “Graeme is a high calibre appointment with a proven track record across a range of senior finance functions including at public companies.

“This appointment follows a series of senior management changes across the business and Graeme’s significant experience will further enhance the leadership team as Mark and his team drive forward Van Elle’s strategy.”
