Leicester-based BHW Solicitors has hired two new solicitors from its regional competitors.

Commercial property solicitor Alison Harrod and specialist employment solicitor Aimée Johns have joined BHW from Knights and Wilson Browne Solicitors respectively.

Harrod previously worked at Spearing Waite before it was taken over at the end of last year.

She has been practising commercial property for over 15 years and handles all areas of real estate.

She said: “I am delighted to have joined BHW. They are an extremely well-regarded, independent law firm. Having experienced a period of change at my previous firm, I felt it was time for a fresh challenge and BHW’s client-centric approach was one that appealed immensely.”

Johns has specialised in employment law and HR since qualifying as a solicitor in 2017.

She said: “I’m excited to be joining BHW and taking the next step in my career. Their position as a specialist commercial firm means I can focus on providing very specific, tailored advice to employers across the region.”

Elsewhere, global aerospace company Pattonair has appointed a new head of marketing.
