Agent launches second phase of prime residential scheme

Mather Jamie has launched the second phase of a prime residential development site on the southern outskirts of Derby.

150 new homes could be coming to the Sinfin area if planners approve the second phase of the scheme.

The 17.9-acre site agricultural site, which is for sale as a whole, comprises phase one – which has already been granted outline planning permission by Derby City Council for 50 homes – and phase two, which is expected to receive outline planning permission from South Derbyshire District Council for a further 100 dwellings later this month.

Bordered by housing to the north and agricultural land to the south and east, the site will form part of a 1,850-home scheme dubbed the Infinity Garden Village – a brand new community which would cover the south of Sinfin and Stenson Fields.

Amy Biddell, associate director at Mather Jamie, said: “This is a fantastic site south of Derby and represents an opportunity for a developer to invest in land with outline planning consent which is also part of the larger Infinity Garden Village scheme.”
