On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Couch Perry Wilkes, the national M&E consultancy, has announced two senior promotions.

New associates Nigel Carter and Fred Stannard have over 20 years of combined experience with the company.

The pair have successfully managed a number of high-profile projects throughout their careers with the firm, including work on the University of Derby STEM building, British Sugar’s HQ in Peterborough and the Waterside Apartments in Nottingham.

Ash Cowdrey, director at Couch Perry Wilkes, said: “Both Fred and Nigel have been dedicated members of the CPW team for many years. In the time they have been with us, their hard work and expertise has been an integral part of the growth we’ve witnessed.

“As a business, we take pride in highlighting our exceptional staff. Both promotions are incredibly well deserved and we’re looking forward to watching their further growth throughout the company.”

Barry Aldridge and Mamie-Ann Patrick

Elsewhere, Loughborough-based hydraulic and pneumatic solutions provider Flotec, has appointed a new marketing manager.

Barry Michael Aldridge has joined the company to support its ambitious growth plans. He replaces Mamie-Ann Patrick, who has moved on to work for new start-up Think3.

He said: “I am thrilled to be joining Flotec at an exciting time in the company’s history. Having been involved within rail and engineering for some time, I am very much looking forward to continuing the fantastic marketing work done by Mamie-Ann.”
