Work begins on educational supplies firm’s new HQ

GMI Construction Group has broken ground on a major new development in Hucknall.

Muse Developments, Rolls-Royce and occupier RM Educational Resources have begun work on the latter’s new 195,840 sq ft headquarters at the centre of the town’s 70-acre, mixed-use Harrier Park scheme.

As reported by TheBusinessDesk.com, the parties agreed a deal to bring the educational supplies firm to the Park in January.

Dan Needham, development director at Muse Developments, said: “It’s a proud milestone for everyone involved at Harrier Park. It’s also a great opportunity to bring partners together and we look forward to working with RM, GMI and Rolls-Royce as the scheme progresses.

“We firmly believe that we’re delivering an innovative development here, which blends together commercial space and employment opportunities, alongside a mixture of vibrant homes to suit everyone, amenities, infrastructure improvements, and open space for the community to enjoy.”

Harrier Park is part of a long-term partnership between Rolls-Royce and Muse Developments which will see nearly one million sq ft of employment space and hundreds of new homes created.
