Starbucks reveals plans to create 32 jobs in Nottingham

How the new drive-thru will look

Some 32 jobs could be created in Nottingham after plans were revealed for a new Starbucks drive-thru on one of the busiest roads into Nottingham city centre.

The new restaurant and takeaway could be built on vacant land on Queens Drive on the outskirts of the city centre, next to a Dunelm superstore.

The building has been designed by Leicester-based Stephen George + Partners.

A statement from the architect said: “A full account of the planning background has been undertaken, the proposed development is consistent with the local Council’s objectives.

“The development therefore provides a high quality designed scheme, which will provide an important economic investment to area.”
