On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Lauren Baugh and Harry Patrick

Derbyshire-based creative agency Purpose Media has bolstered its team with two new recruits.

Harry Patrick and Lauren Baugh have joined the firm as account manager and project management apprentice respectively.

Patrick brings six years of digital marketing experience to the company, while Baugh becomes the latest young person to join Purpose Media’s apprenticeship scheme, which has produced several senior members of staff over the past 11 years.

Account director Jamie Bourn said: “We’re pleased to welcome both Harry and Lauren on board. Their appointments come on the back of a strong period of growth for Purpose Media and will help us to extend our client offering even further.

“Account management and maintaining close, collaborative relationships with all our clients is key to the way we work with them to help them get more from their marketing and achieve their overall business objectives.

“Our account managers give our clients access to a dedicated team of creative and digital specialists who help them to maximise their spend on bespoke marketing campaigns which deliver results.

“Our project team, meanwhile, ensures all work is kept on track and each client is kept fully up-to-date on its progress to ensure we can continue to deliver successful campaigns which add real value to their investment in our services.”

Elsewhere, Midlands-based independent builders merchant Frank Key has strengthened its management team.

Ruth Housley and Shafiq Sharif

New group head of marketing Shafiq Sharif and group head of human resources Ruth Housley will be based at the firm’s Nottingham branch.

James Norton, group managing director at Frank Key, said: “It is always exciting to welcome new members of staff, bringing with them a fresh perspective and ideas to the business. A very warm welcome to Shafiq and Ruth, you have both settled into your roles extremely well and have already made a big impact at Frank Key.”
