Emergency repairs shut A52 in Nottingham

The A52 in Nottinghamshire is currently closed between the A6464 (Wollaton) and the A6007 (Bramcote) near Nottingham due to an emergency infrastructure repair to an overhead gantry.
Highways England says it has resources deployed to restore normal conditions as soon as possible. Nottinghamshire Police are assisting with local traffic management.
Road users are advised to expect disruption and to allow extra journey time.
Strategic diversion route details and guidance is as follows:
From the A52(T) QMC roundabout, take the A6514 north for 1.2km then turn left onto the A609. Follow the A609 for 3.6km until the large crossroads junction with the A6002 and turn right. Continue north along the A6002 for 4.3km until the large signalised roundabout with the A610. At the roundabout, take the A610 westbound and continue for 700m. Take the southbound entry slip road onto the M1 at J26 and continue south until J25. Exit the motorway to re-join the westbound A52(T).
