Staton Young says it secured a new tenant for The Post House in just 24 hours; Lee Jones Junior and Grant Pullen who will be opening Bar Social.

Jones Junior said: “Bar Social will be a casual but stylish place to eat and drink, using quality locally sourced ingredients, with all the food being made from scratch; from hand cut chips to home-made desserts.

“The bar will stock an enormous range of speciality gins and will also specialise in cocktails. All the usual spirits, wines and prosecco, draught and bottle beers will also be available as well as boozy milkshakes!”

Bar Social will also bring ROFL Comedy Club to Bar Social every Friday and Saturday night.

Staton Young says it is lso looking to convert the upper floors of the building into apartments.

Lucy Wilde, associate director, said: “We are very pleased to have secured the sale of this building and are of course delighted to be once again investing in Derby and bringing something new to the city centre.”
