Games Workshop set to move into 177,500 sq ft distribution hub

Games Workshop’s huge new warehouse and distribution facility at SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway has been completed ahead of schedule.

Games Workshop, the Nottingham-based manufacturer of fantasy miniatures, signed a 15-year lease for the 177,500 sq ft unit, which will become the main distribution hub, when it is operational in Autumn 2020. It joins other customers such as Amazon, XPO Logistics, Kuehne & Nagel and ShopDirect on the 700 acre flagship site.

Andrew Pilsworth, SEGRO’s business unit director, National Logistics, said: “Despite the construction challenges presented by necessary social distancing guidelines in recent months, we’re pleased to have safely completed the development ahead of schedule while adhering to the new measures.

“We look forward to welcoming Games Workshop to their new distribution hub at SLPEMG, where they will join a rapidly growing number of companies operating on the site.”
