Manufacturer makes multimillion-pound move to new HQ

A Kegworth manufacturer has moved into a new 73,000 sq ft HQ premises after securing a multi-million pound loan facility from Yorkshire-based finance firm ASG.

Slack & Parr makes custom precision gear pumps and has been based in Kegworth for more than a century. It has moved to a new base on Long Lane in the north-west Leicestershire village.

Edward Barrington, managing director of Slack & Parr, said: “We were first introduced to ASG by Midlands Asset Finance as they knew their flexible solutions would be a great fit for us.

“Since then we’ve developed a fantastic relationship with Mark Heyes, who has been approachable, honest and reliable right from the start. We’re delighted to have teamed up with them and can’t wait to reap the benefits of our relocation in the near future.”

Heyes, ASG Finance’s lender and business developer, added: “Here at ASG we pride ourselves on finding unique solutions to specific needs, so we were thrilled to work with Edward to support Slack & Parr Ltd on this particular project. T

“The team would like to thank Dave Chapman at Midlands Asset Finance for the introduction and Lyndon Campbell and Christian Hunt at Bevan Britain for completing the legal paperwork. As always, we look forward to helping organisations throughout the North of England with similar initiatives.”
