Developer makes return to regional market with help of agent

A renonwed East Midlands developer is returning to the market with a joint venture and the help of a local commercial property agency.

NG Chartered Surveyors has brokered a land deal that will bring forward mid-sized industrial property space to north Nottinghamshire.

Acting on behalf developer Chris Carlisle of Decorum Estates, Richard Sutton, managing director of NG, has bought a four-acre site – the last plot available – on the Access 26 Business Park in Langley Mill.

Decorum will be developing out the site on a speculative basis in a joint venture project with Total Developments.

Sutton said: “This is a real step forward for NG and for Decorum Estates, headed by highly-regarded Chris Carlisle as the company moves into this prime sector of the market.

“A planning application for one 30,000 sq ft and one 40,000 sq ft unit is about to be submitted and the development will be built out this year. We wish Chris all the best with the new joint venture.

Chris Carlisle of Decorum Estates said: “This key location will help address the latent and ever-increasing demand for mid-box industrial space. We will be submitting our planning application shortly.
