Chairman sells £7.5m stake in software firm

David Hornsby stands down as chairman

The executive chairman of Ruddington-based software firm, Ideagen, has sold an almost £7.5m stake in the company.

David Hornsby has offloaded 2,589,533 shares at 288.84p and transferred 1,533,333 Ordinary Shares to his wife.

Following the move, Hornsby’s stake in the firm has dropped to 3% – all of which is is his wife’s name.

At the end of January, Ideagen reported that it had increased both its revenue and adjusted profits for the six months to October 31 2020.

Turnover had risen by 7% to £29.2m and adjusted profit before tax 23% to £7.4m.
