Nottingham HMO sold in deal worth over £750,000

A house designed by renowned Nottingham architect Watson Fothergill has been sold.

Acting on behalf of Artemis Property Company, Chris Proctor and Steve Gillott of FHP Property Consultants brokered a deal to sell the house to Grolar Developments.

The house has been split into 15 studio apartments for the past 40 years.

Gary Scorah of Commercial Properties acted on behalf of Grolar.

Proctor said: “Our client had owned the property for over 15 years and kept the premises in immaculate condition with the 15 HMO apartments fully let for almost the entire time he owned the property.

“After launching the property to the market at £750,000, we received a high level of interest and ended up going to best and final offers with the final price to Grolar Developments well in excess of the quoting price. An excellent result for our client, and we wish the purchasers all the best with the property.”
