Future of Speedo HQ unclear as owner ‘considers lease options’

Pentland Brands, which owns the Speedo head office in Nottingham, says it is “considering its lease options” for the 35,300 sq ft space on the city’s NG2 business park.

The move comes as Pentland Brands makes a move to hybrid working, post-lockdown.

Speedo House is currently being marketed by M1 Agency, which describes the building as a “striking Grade A self-contained three-storey headquarters office”. The site offers 105 car parking spaces.

A spokesperson for Pentland Brands told TheBusinessDesk.com: “Pentland Brands has confirmed that it is currently considering lease options for its NG2 office space in Nottingham. From September, the company will be introducing hybrid working across its UK offices; resulting in the company requiring around 50% less office space. No final decisions have been made and the expectation is that nothing will change until, at least, 2022.”

The company says no jobs will be lost as part of the process.
