Rail engineering firm expands Derby footprint

Engineering firm Loram UK has moved into a new offices on Pride Park in Derby.

The company has taken almost 8,000 sq ft of space across three floors at 7 Mallard Way on a 10-year lease.

The deal was brokered by FHP Property Consultants on behalf of Derbyshire Investments.

Darran Severn of FHP Property Consultants said: “This is a substantial office transaction in Derby and I am pleased the letting has now completed. Loram is a well known international name who work within the rail sector. Technology House has been taken in addition to their existing offices at
RTC Business Park.”

Scott Bailey from Derbyshire Investments added: “We are extremely pleased with the new letting to Loram and shows the strength of the office market within Derby and especially Pride Park. We would also like to thank FHP and Salloways for structuring the deal and matching up Technology House with Loram’s requirements and we wish Loram all the success at their new offices”.
