Notts environmental consultancy sold in £4.5m deal

Marlowe, the listed business critical services and software giant, has acquired Santia, which has an office in Blidworth, Nottinghamshire, in a £4.5m deal.

Santia, which is headquartered in Cardiff, is a provider of environmental safety testing and consultancy services.

Santia employs 120 people in Cardiff and Blidworth.

For the year ended 31 December 2019, Santia generated an adjusted EBITDA of £800,000 on revenues of £10.6m. The acquisition consideration of an initial £4.3m and subsequent deferred consideration of £200,000, are to be paid subject to achievement of integration objectives and will be settled in cash and funded from Marlowe’s existing cash resources.
