Revised plans for a new 60-bed student accommodation in Nottingham have been passed by the city council’s planning committee.
The scheme was originally proposed in 2019, but has undergone design changes.
Work will involve the demolition of the existing property, a disused play centre, at 34 Tennyson Street, which has been sold by Nottingham City Council to Fletcher Construction Midlands.
The development will consist of two blocks of four linked units and one block of two links units. Each unit will three storeys high and have an open plan lounge and kitchen at ground floor level and three en-suite bedrooms on the first and second floors.
