Third term voted through for Loughborough BID

A ballot has approved a third term for the Loughborough Business Improvement District (BID).
Businesses in Loughborough town centre have voted in favour of a third five-year term for the BID team.
A total of 230 votes were cast and 184 (80%) were in favour of Loughborough BID continuing.
Councillor Jenny Bokor, lead member for Loughborough, said: “Congratulations to the BID on their successful renewal. It is well deserved and I know that the team will deliver a fantastic business plan to build on the successes from the past five years and help local businesses to get residents through their doors.
“Charnwood Borough Council will continue to work with and support the BID as it has always been a positive and effective partnership.”
