Footwear retailer to create jobs with new store in Nottinghamshire

Footwear retailer, Clinkard Group, is set to open a new store in East Bridgford following a £220,000 investment.

Opening its doors on Friday 4 March, the 3,000 sq ft store in Nottinghamshire will sit in the grounds of the Blue Diamond Garden Centre. It will create up to 12 full and part-time jobs.

Tim Payne at The Clinkard Group said: “We’re delighted to be opening a store at the Blue Diamond Garden & Home centre in East Bridgford. This is a new type of venture for us and I’m sure it will provide an additional blueprint for our store strategy going forward.

“Our large, standalone shop will offer a range of footwear and a level of personal service that will be in keeping with the premium proposition Blue Diamond has built in the extensive grounds of the complex. Our customers can expect a broad range of comfortable, quality footwear for all the family and we’ll eagerly await their feedback in the first few weeks after opening.”
