People: Banks Long & Co; Hockley Developments
Lincoln property consultant and chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co have appointed a new associate director.
Harriet Hatcher, who has been with the organisation since 2014 has been promoted to the role in the valuation team, which sits within the management and professional services Division.
Tim Bradford, managing director, said: “This is recognition and reward for the outstanding contribution Harriet has made to the organisation over the past eight years.
“In 2021, Harriet played a leading role in the success of the property valuation team, which valued over 200 commissions spanning work from Truro to Darlington and valuing in excess of over £370m of property.”
Hatcher said: “We have many exciting plans to continue the success of the valuation department and enhance our support of the commercial property sector.”
Paul Kennedy
Nottingham-based Hockley Developments has promoted Paul Kennedy as construction director.
Managing director, Alan Forsyth, said: “Paul joined us in 2021 as construction manager, and in nine months has quickly shown his qualities and experience with his commercial and construction knowledge. He has shown his passion for producing high quality developments and is well respected by all at Hockley Developments with his excellent leadership qualities.
“This was an easy promotion, as we go into 2022, with multiple live sites across the East Midlands, going through the planning process on four others, and three prominent sites completing over the next three months, it is important we have strong personnel in the key positions.
“We look forward to Paul continuing to drive our sites on, both on programme and budget.”
Kennedy said: “It has been a thoroughly enjoyable first nine months with Hockley Developments. We have a strong ambitious young team and the future growth plans we have set out as a company are very exciting indeed. I am very much looking forward to playing my part in leading the team into a very bright future with Hockley developments.”
