IT specialist partners with international stationery giant

Retail Assist has completed a full upgrade of stationery giant Paperchase’s omnichannel supply chain solution, Merret – improvements which will give the international chain further capacity for growth.

The Nottingham-based managed IT solutions provider delivered the project within two weeks, providing what Paperchase has called a “brilliant foundation on which to proceed and focus on our future growth.”

Rick Dearman, head of IT at Paperchase, said: “As a result of the upgrade we now have minimal downtime, and much quicker overnight schedules. It has removed many of our time-consuming administrative tasks, clearing disk space. The new system has surpassed our expectations in terms of speed and availability.”

Kieran Bowden, chief commercial officer at Retail Assist, added: “This has been a rewarding project to be involved in, as we’ve now provided Paperchase with a much more reliable and efficient base to host Merret and perform much more effective operations moving forward.
