Fast-growing accountancy practice swoops for Leicestershire rival

A Leicester-based accountancy practice has announced its first acquisition after doubling in size every year since its inception.

BGS Accounting, which was formed just 4 years ago, has snapped up Syston accountants Thakkar and Co.

BGS will gain 100 new clients and grow by a further 50 percent as a result of the acquisition.

The fast-growing firm was founded by ACCA qualified accountants Bhavesh Shah and Gurbinder Singh in 2018. It currently employs a team of 8 people.

Pattersons Commercial Law advised BGS on the deal.
