People: Design Studio Architects; DBCP

Architectural technologist Umesh Mistry has joined Leicester-based Design Studio Architects (DSA) as senior technical manager.
Mistry brings nearly 35 years’ industry experience to the RIBA chartered practice.
He will be responsible for delivering large-scale residential and industrial schemes and commercial sector projects and help to develop DSA’s new sports and leisure services.
Mistry said: “DSA attracted me because of the similarities in its core values, work ethos, its collaborative spirit and to have the opportunity to work with a talented and progressive team of young professionals towards a common goal of providing excellence in design and technical delivery.
“It is an exciting time in the history of DSA as the company expands and re-shapes the business and I very much look forwards to being part of this process bring with my voice, knowledge and experience. I continue my journey with a clear focus on mentoring younger professionals, providing design/ technical excellence and giving a first-class service to clients.”
Derbyshire Building Control Partnership (DBCP) has bolstered its technical support team with a new hire.
Natalie Hague
Natalie Hague, who joins DBCP from Dunston Innovation Centre in Chesterfield, brings 20 years’ customer service experience to the role.
David Pratt, building control manager at DBCP, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Natalie to the team, our technical support team is the core of the business and offering great customer service is what we’re all about.
