The Peak Village shopping centre in Rowsley, Derbyshire has welcomed a pair of new tenants ahead of the busy Christmas season.

In an increasingly rare piece of good news for the firm, Leicestershire-based lifestyle brand Joules has taken up residence at the exclusive retail outlet, joining the likes of Wild Olive, Lambs Cakes and Bakes, Garden World, Grape Tree and Chatsworth Kitchen on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

Joules’ founder Tom Joule said: “We’re thrilled to be opening a new Joules store in Peak Village. We’re really looking forward to opening the doors and bringing our unique personality and style to shoppers in Rowsley and the surrounding area.”

Meanwhile, another new arrival, Derbyshire-based Coghlans’s Food and Wine Experience, is bringing a new concept to Peak Village.

The business will host “Meet the Producers” events, wine courses and team building events to complement its offering of wines, champagne and premium-quality specialist foods.

Significant investment over the past 18 months has enabled Peak Village to grow following its purchase by the Devonshire Group, the company that represents the interests of the Devonshire family at nearby Chatsworth.

The outlet hosts nearly 20 shops and employs between 80 and 100 people.
