Impression has launched headfirst into 2023 with an influx of new client wins.

Gossard and its sister brand Pretty Polly, Blinds 2go, Lampoo, global events company GL events, B2B events business Wildgoose and consumer loans provider Sambla Group are all set to benefit from the expertise of the Nottingham-based digital marketing agency.

Impression’s commercial director Mikey Emery said: “Despite 2022 being a challenging year for businesses, we are proud that the agency achieved another year of record growth. We shifted our business strategy during the pandemic and focused on building out our service offering as well as improving our ability to attract and develop talent. This has paid dividends as we have seen our team win new and exciting household-named brands and deliver insane levels of growth for them.

“2023 is going to be tough, but thanks to the team we have in place and the position we are in, we have set our sites on hitting new heights as we expand internationally and introduce a plethora of new skills and expertise to the agency.”

Marcus Sätherström, head of SEO at Sambla, said: “We at Sambla are very excited to partner with Impression to take our SEO strategy to the next level with innovative and exciting approaches. We believe our collaboration will help us achieve amazing results and give us a bigger gap towards our competitors.”

Steven Leek, group marketing manager at GL events UK, said: “Following numerous acquisitions over recent years, GL events have grown significantly in the UK. As leaders in the various industries in which we operate, we’re excited to be partnered with a multi-award-winning paid search agency, to ensure sustained success across our growing portfolio.”

Meanwhile, Lincolnshire-based digital agency Laser Red has extended its contract with myenergi, the award-winning designer and manufacturer of renewable energy products.

The extension comes after the Grimsby firm redeveloped myenergi’s website.

Jordan Brompton, co-founder and CMO of myenergi, said: “I’m absolutely delighted with the relationship we have with the team at Laser Red, they’ve been so supportive and provided a great steer on the direction of our online presence.

“myenergi has been growing so fast as demand for cleaner energy sources continues to increase and we’ve needed to expand our online marketing capabilities quickly, redeveloping our websites and up-weighting our SEO and digital campaigns. Laser Red has worked in partnership with us throughout that journey and the collaboration continues to be successful.”

Laser Red MD Liam O’Leary said: “We’re very proud to support myenergi in its mission to drive awareness and uptake of renewable energy resources at a time when the impact of climate change is so prevalent.

“We wanted to create for myenergi domestic and international websites and marketing campaigns that delivered clear return on investment, driving engagement and sales for the business while raising awareness of the fantastic work myenergi is doing to help combat climate change. The results demonstrate that we’ve achieved that objective.”

O’Leary added: “As a proud Grimsby-based business, it is a great reward to be able to work with such an innovative and inspiring local company. This area has a wealth of successful businesses and talented people that we’re committed to supporting.”
