On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Fiona Tweedie

Geldards has strengthened its family law team with the appointment of experienced associate Fiona Tweedie.

Tweedie brings nine years’ experience as a private client solicitor to the East Midlands law firm.

Fiona Apthorpe, partner and head of family law at Geldards, said: “Fiona brings an excellent skill set to the team, her fluency in French is a real asset and strengthens the service we can offer to clients. She has already hit the ground running and we are delighted to welcome her to the Family team.”

Tweedie added: “I am so pleased to be joining the renowned Geldards Family law team, their reputation as a Tier 1 (Legal 500) team is well-deserved. Working for a full-service firm is really important to me, it provides clients with a much better service. I have already been made to feel very welcome and am excited to start my journey with Geldards.”

Derby-based creative agency Fluid Ideas welcomed seven new faces to its team, including its first ever apprentice.

Olivia Beighton has joined Fluid’s search and social team as an apprentice digital marketing executive. She will work alongside fellow new hire, optimisation specialist Zukais Mohammed.

Ed O’Murphy and Jaime Tozer have bolstered the firm’s image and motion team, while Rafael Cardoso and Pasha Mardiiants join the agency as front-end developers.

Meanwhile, Fluid’s brand and creative team has been strengthened by the arrival of University of Lincoln graduate Ben Bayes.

The new team members bring a brilliant blend of energy and experience to Fluid.

“Although it’s a nervous time for a lot of businesses, we stand by a belief that building strong and trusting partnerships with clients, and having a team that really cares, will help us continue to grow and mature in a way that feels both natural and purposeful.”
