On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

National planning consultancy Boyer has appointed a new Midlands office head.
David Hutchinson, previously land and planning director, has been promoted to the role after five years with the company.
Boyer’s Midlands head office is located on Cedars Office Park near Loughborough.
Andy Williams, managing director at Boyer, said: “David joined the office shortly after it opened in 2018 and has been instrumental in establishing our presence in the region. He has brought significant land, planning and new homes instructions into both Boyer and the Leaders Romans Group for high profile clients on a number of strategic land sites. David will lead and develop both the land and planning teams in the region as part of our business plan for the growth of Boyer and LRG.”
Derby-based surveying practice Invise has welcomed a pair of new hires.
Nathan Lovett joins the business as an associate director while Alex Kowalczuk takes on the role of client relationship manager.
Lovett qualified as a chartered surveyor two years ago and brings ten years’ industry experience to the company.
He said: “I’m really excited at the new challenge working at Invise presents. The opportunity to help shape the business and contribute to further growth was something I could not turn down. From our initial conversations, it was the perfect opportunity at this point of my career, and I immediately recognised that Invise shares the same values as me.”
