Coup for housebuilder as Countryside man takes technical director role

Derbyshire housebuilder Avant Homes Central has appointed an experienced new technical director to further its regional expansion plans.

Mark Bray joins the Chesterfield firm from residential development giant Countryside Partnerships. He brings more than 40 years’ experience in local government and the construction and housebuilding sectors to the role.

At Avant, Bray will be responsible for house type and development design and support the firm’s regional land, commercial, construction and site management teams throughout the various stages of the construction process.

He said: “Avant Homes has a clear national and regional expansion strategy. I’m excited to become part of it and to join a team dedicated to delivering high quality new homes in great locations.

“Our technical team is focused on continually enhancing our product and the way we build for the benefit of buyers, so I am looking forward to helping drive the business forward with them.”
