Property agency looking to develop ‘new breed of expert commercial agents’

The UK’s first hybrid commercial estate agency is actively recruiting agents in the East Midlands.
Whozoo has been launched by Tom Castro, former director of City & Counties Commercial, with the explicit aim of disrupting the industry. The London-headquartered firm’s hybrid model connects agents with clients looking to buy, sell or develop commercial property. The company is specifically looking to target the SME commercial and development market.
Castro believes that with better training, support and incentivisation, and by embracing digital innovation, a “new breed of expert commercial agents” will emerge.
Agents currently being onboarded across the region will have the chance to earn up to 70% commission.
Castro said: “I’m incredibly excited to launch Whozoo and very much look forward to welcoming our new agents to the team. It’s not uncommon for people to overlook the huge untapped potential of the low to mid-market – or as we call it the SME commercial and development market. If you visit any town or city in the UK, there’s empty shops, boarded up buildings and a distinct lack of good quality agents available to deal with them. Our aim is to change that.
“By embracing the digital revolution, we will not only give talented agents greater freedom and flexibility – allowing them to manage their own career and life, we can also help them to earn significantly more money. We’ve created a model that bridges the gap between full employment and running your own business. You have the freedom to operate however you choose, the potential to earn good money and the full-time support of experienced research, marketing and operations teams.”
