Plastics firm wraps up deal for fellow Leicestershire outfit

Ashby de la Zouch plastics raw materials distributor Plastribution Group has bought fellow Leicestershire firm Eagle Plastics.

Plastribution Group’s core business is the distribution of thermoplastic pellets for injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding industries. The deal will mean the firm can offer a wider range of plastic products, to include a sheet business, in their products division.

Based in Thurmaston, Eagle Plastics supplies semi-finished thermoplastic materials. The business has 11 employees who will be retained at their existing site in Leicester, along with managing director Darren Clarke.

Leading the deal from Geldards’ corporate team was partner Debra Martin who was supported by solicitor Hugh White, who advised on all elements of the transaction.
