Cubo to open on one of Scotland’s most famous streets

40 Princes Street

Fast-growing serviced office operator Cubo is set to expand into Edinburgh.

The Derby-headquartered firm – which recently revealed the location of its second site in Nottingham – has acquired a 16,000 sq ft, Grade A workspace on Princes Street in the Scottish capital.

Cubo’s new base at 40 Princes Street sits adjacent to Edinburgh Waverley railway station just a stone’s throw from the city’s popular St James Quarter.

It will feature office accommodation arranged over two floors, with a total of 325 desks available, plus a new reception, glass lifts and on-site showers.

The site will officially open its doors in June.

Earlier this year, Cubo founders Marc and Rebecca Brough revealed plans to open four new workspaces by the end of Q2 2023. Sites in Manchester and Birmingham are expected to be announced shortly.

Marc Brough, CEO of Cubo, said: “We are so excited to have secured what we think is Edinburgh’s most amazing office location.

“It was tricky sharpening our search in a city with little Grade A supply, but the setting, location and quality of 40 Princes Street blew us away when we first saw it.

“The new space continues our rapid expansion and reinforces our commitment to opening in the very best locations across all the UK’s core cities.”
