Access Managed Services – part of Loughborough-headquartered software giant The Access Group – has revealed plans to grow its team by a fifth.

The business, previously known as Oosha, was established to help law firms invest in cyber security and IT strategies. Following its rebrand, the company is planning to grow its IT service engineer team to support the delivery of core operations and a number of its support and security functions.

Access Managed Services is part of Access Legal, which provides IT solutions to more than 3,800 UK firms including The MAPD Group, Minster Law, Winn Solicitors, Wolferstans and Neves Solicitors LLP.

Ian Bedford, general manager at Access Managed Services, said: “We are proud of Oosha’s heritage because we know how committed the team is in delivering an expert-led service to a customer base of over 100 law firms.

“The rebrand marks an important milestone in Access Legal’s journey. More law firms want to outsource their IT services, including cloud migration, to reputable partners so we’re investing in more people with the technical capabilities and customer service skills to deliver this, as well as prioritising the quality of our products and support services to our customers.”

The Access Group made headlines last summer when it received a fresh round of investment from major shareholders Hg and TA Associates, valuing the company at around £9.2bn.
