Howzat! Trent Bridge to host pair of men’s Ashes contests

The English Cricket Board (ECB) has handed Trent Bridge a host of prestigious men’s and women’s international fixtures over the next eight years – including a pair of men’s Ashes tests.
The famous ground in Nottingham will play host to six men’s test matches and four women’s white ball internationals between 2025 and 2031, as well as five men’s IT20 matches and two ODIs.
Trent Bridge will welcome Australia for men’s Ashes contests in 2027 and 2031.
The full match allocation is as follows:
2025 – Men’s Test (Opposition TBC); Men’s Test (Opposition TBC); Men’s IT20 (Opposition TBC); Women’s White-ball international (Format/Opposition TBC)
2026 – Men’s Test (Opposition TBC); Men’s IT20 (England vs India)
2027 – Men’s Test (England vs Australia); Men’s IT20 (Opposition TBC); Women’s White-ball international (Format/Opposition TBC)
2028 – Men’s Test (Opposition TBC); Men’s ODI (England vs India); Women’s White-ball international (Format/Opposition TBC)
2029 – Men’s ODI (Opposition TBC); Men’s IT20 (Opposition TBC)
2030 – Men’s Test (Opposition TBC)
2031 – Men’s Test (England vs Australia); Men’s IT20 (Opposition TBC); Women’s White-ball international (Format/Opposition TBC)
Trent Bridge is due to host the sole 2023 Women’s Ashes Test from Thursday 22 to Monday 26 June.
