Forest’s fairy tale continues with record revenues

Nottingham Forest’s stellar season has continued after the club announced record revenues and a return to pre-tax profitability in its latest accounts.

The announcement comes as the team celebrates reaching their first FA Cup semi-final appearance since 1991.

The Reds reported revenues of £189.5m for the financial year ending June 30 2024 – up from from £154.7m in the previous year. Pre-tax profits also saw a dramatic improvement, rising from a loss of £67.2m to a profit of £12m over the same period.

Despite this, Forest saw operating losses widen, from £59.5m to £73.2m on the back of heavy investment in operations and squad development.

On the pitch, Nottingham Forest finished the 2023/24 Premier League season in 17th place, narrowly avoiding relegation.
