Pinewood film studios owner enters £4bn race for control of Center Parcs

Another suitor has joined the £4bn race to buy Nottinghamshire-headquarted Center Parcs.
Property investor Aermont, which owns the Pinewood film studios, is likely to table a bid for the upmarket holiday resort chain, according to Sky News, ahead of a deadline on Tuesday (June 20).
Also circling Center Parcs are a partnership between Singapore’s Government Investment Corporation and KSL Capital Partners; and CVC Partners.
It is thought that former Center Parcs owner Blackstone and Antin are also interested in making a bid.
Center Parcs is currently owned by Canadian property giant Brookfield Partners and has six sites across the UK and Ireland.
