Forest player charged with 375 breaches of FA betting rules

Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo has been charged with misconduct by the FA for allegedly violating its betting rules.

The FA alleges that the player breached FA Rule E1(b) some 375 times between 22 January 2014 and 18 March 2017.

Toffolo has until Wednesday 19 July to provide a response, said the FA.

Toffolo wasn’t a Nottingham Forest player at the time of the alleged breaches of the FA rules. He spent those years out on loan to a host of teams from parent club Norwich City.

He joined Nottingham Forest last year and has made 19 appearances for The Reds.
