1,000 jobs to be created as developer kicks off largest-ever UK scheme

Logicor, the logistics property investor and developer, is set to begin its largest redevelopment in the UK.

The site, in Daventry, was bought in 2021. Logicor is redeveloping the site to create 800,000 sq ft of  logistics across 38.5 acres which will be known as Logicor Park Daventry.

Detailed planning consent has been secured for three new warehouses of 800,000 sq ft, ranging from 135,000 sq ft to 385,000 sq ft, as well as two on-site gyms, shower facilities and cycle paths.

The redevelopment is set to begin later this year and to be completed by the first quarter of 2025. Benniman Construction Group has been appointed as the general contractor and it is expected that 1,000 jobs will be potentially created once the units have been completed and leased.
