Training firm lands £1m government contract

Mansfield-based Qdos Training has won a £1m contract from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to deliver education and training to 19+ adults within the East Midlands.

The contract was only awarded to 55 training providers and brings funding back into the East Midlands for anyone wanting to upskill to Level 2 in a variety of areas.

Within the budget allocated, Level 3 courses have been added under the FCFJ (Free Courses For Jobs) that is a Government initiative to support people to gain level 3 qualifications in their chosen career field or to expand their knowledge.

All course are fully accredited with awarding bodies such as IcanQualify and City and Guilds.

Clare Parker, CEO of Qdos Training, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this funding and want to help all East Midlands residents gain access to the funding and upskill. This funding can be spent on the employed or unemployed.”
