On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Law firm Michael Cummins Employment Solicitors has appointed Sarina Mahal as its new senior associate.

The Leicestershire-based firm offers employers advice and representation in various areas of employment law.

Mahal began her career in HR at Boots and British Gypsum before training as a lawyer at Eversheds.

During her time with Eversheds Sutherland’s Employment Group, she worked in various locations, managing legal matters for a wide range of companies, including FTSE and Fortune 500 firms, start-ups, and owner-managed businesses.

Derby’s Link ICT, an IT and telecoms support company, has hired a new IT support technician

Connor Staton

Connor Staton joins the company with three years of experience from a graduate program after earning a degree in computer networks from Sheffield Hallam University.

In his new role, Staton will offer on-site IT support to Link ICT’s school clients in Chesterfield and North Nottinghamshire.

He said: “A lot of IT support roles are based at a single office with little interaction with hardware and setup. This role is more complex and as well as being on the front line supporting users whilst on site, I will also deal with a more diverse range of hardware and software which will allow me to learn a range of new skills.”
