Island Quarter owner set to raise £15m in share issue

Conygar, the owner of the huge Island Quarter regeneration site in Nottingham, is set to raise £15m through a share placing.

The firm says it will spend the proceeds on further developing out the Island Quarter.

The news comes after the latest phase of the huge Island Quarter regeneration scheme in Nottingham moved a step closer to completion.

The final structural beam of the student accommodation element of the scheme was put in place in June, marking the latest milestone in the development of the landmark project, which spans 36 acres of the city’s Southside.

Nearly seven hundred students will be housed at the block on the Manvers Road side of the site when work completes next year.
